Alera's tonsils Yikes!

Alera had her tonsils out Friday w/ a new set of ear tubes! She was such a trooper. I think everyone built her up to having all the ice cream she wanted so she couldn't wait. After they gave her the "funny" medicine, the Dr came in and she sat up very quickly and was so serious and said "why do you have so many eyes". Oh my we couldn't stop laughing. We got home and she slept a little but all day she kept asking for Chinese food. I said no way Alera and she begged for me to get it so I did and she had two helpings of fried rice, lo mein noodles and egg drop soup. Today (Saturday) She acts like she never had surgery! Amazing is all that is. She is awesome. Alera before surgery

Let Us Pray

So, the kids and I were on the way home from school yesterday and Alera just says "Mom, when we get home I want to pray to God". I was kind of surprised b/c she usually doesn't say anything about God or Jesus unless we just get out of church. So I told her okay.

Well today we were on our way home and she says "Mom, I prayed to Jesus today at Heritage (her daycare). I said "well who did you pray w/". She seems to tell me that one of her teachers talked to them about God and that they prayed. You don't see that in school hardly anymore.

Girls Night Party

We had hosted our first girl's night party. It consisted of good food, lots of play and they played make up. Just a few pics to share from the night.

Alera's First Day of Kindergarten

Alera loved her first week of Kindergarten. She has been going to bed at 8 instead of 10. It's nice to know she is pooped at the end of her day. She was ready to start "big" school and I was ready for her to start too.

The Tooth Fairy

Alera has lost her 2nd bottom tooth last weekend and just informed me this morning that her top tooth is loose. The poor tooth fairy is going to be broke. The dentist said she wouldn't lose the top ones for another year. Just goes to show that the Dentist doesn't always know what they are talking about!!!

Alera's 5th Birthday Party

Alera had her 5th bday party at Jump'N Land. She had 20 kids there to help her celebrate along with all of her grandparents!!! It was a great party!

Gymnastics
