Alera's tonsils Yikes!

Alera had her tonsils out Friday w/ a new set of ear tubes! She was such a trooper. I think everyone built her up to having all the ice cream she wanted so she couldn't wait. After they gave her the "funny" medicine, the Dr came in and she sat up very quickly and was so serious and said "why do you have so many eyes". Oh my we couldn't stop laughing. We got home and she slept a little but all day she kept asking for Chinese food. I said no way Alera and she begged for me to get it so I did and she had two helpings of fried rice, lo mein noodles and egg drop soup. Today (Saturday) She acts like she never had surgery! Let Us Pray

So, the kids and I were on the way home from school yesterday and Alera just says "Mom, when we get home I want to pray to God". I was kind of surprised b/c she usually doesn't say anything about God or Jesus unless we just get out of church. So I told her okay.

Well today we were on our way home and she says "Mom, I prayed to Jesus today at Heritage (her daycare). I said "well who did you pray w/". She seems to tell me that one of her teachers talked to them about God and that they prayed. You don't see that in school hardly anymore.
